Nikolina Babic, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, is a professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and medical director of Clinical Chemistry Laboratories and Point-of-Care Testing. She is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Babic's work focuses on implementing new diagnostic approaches, including biomarker validation, immunoassay performance evaluation, and point-of-care testing, to support patient care and laboratory efficiency. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in laboratory medicine and is active in national professional organizations, including ADLM and the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
