Now on demand: Evolving PCR Testing at the Point of Care: Introducing the BIOFIRE® SPOTFIRE®

On Demand

This ADLM event, sponsored by bioMérieux, was recorded live on October 7, 2024 and will be available on demand through October 30, 2025.

Event description

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the critical need for rapid, on-site diagnostic tools. Patients demand timely answers, and delayed results can lead to prolonged time to result, misdiagnosis, or unnecessary antimicrobial treatments.

In-house multiplex diagnostic testing empowers clinicians to provide immediate results, eliminating guesswork caused by overlapping respiratory symptoms and ensuring accurate patient care.

In this webinar, we introduce the BIOFIRE® SPOTFIRE® Respiratory/Sore Throat (R/ST) Solution, including the system and panels, as a potential solution that addresses these most common challenges faced at point-of-care facilities.

In just one hour, you’ll learn:

  • What value the SPOTFIRE R/ST Solution can bring to the point of care.
  • How the SPOTFIRE System helped a pediatric practice evolve its diagnostic care.
  • What makes the system tick through a product demo.
  • The pathogen target menus and how they differ from existing offerings.
