PAMA reporting window opens as ADLM continues push for permanent reform

The current PAMA data reporting period is underway, with applicable laboratories required to report private payor data from January 1 through June 30, 2025, during the May 1 through July 31, 2026 reporting window. This reporting cycle follows congressional action that delayed scheduled Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule cuts through 2026 and updated the data collection period so future rates will be based on more recent market data. ADLM supported this short-term relief but continues to emphasize that temporary delays do not resolve the underlying structural flaws in the PAMA framework. ADLM has endorsed the RESULTS Act and continues working with coalition partners to advocate for permanent reform that protects patient access to laboratory testing and creates a more accurate and representative reimbursement system.
