What is the Implementation Stories Contest?
Every day, laboratory medicine professionals change healthcare for the better by providing vital insight that enables people everywhere to get the care they need. The Academy of Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine supports this essential work by providing lab medicine professionals with the most up-to-date recommendations on laboratory best practices.
In order to highlight the vital role that both lab medicine professionals and the Academy play in patient care, we’ve launched the inaugural Implementation Stories Contest. For this contest, we’re looking for stories from lab medicine professionals who’ve made a positive impact at their institutions by implementing an Academy recommendation.
Who can participate in the contest?
We encourage you to share your story via the form at the bottom of this page if you meet the following criteria:
- You’re a laboratory medicine professional (ADLM and/or Academy membership not required)
- You’ve implemented a recommendation at your institution from a(n):
- Implementing this recommendation led to measurable benefits for patient care, your lab, or your institution
What do the winners receive?
One member from each winning team will be awarded registration for ADLM 2025 and the opportunity to showcase their team's story at the meeting.
