Scientific Division Awards

The Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine's Scientific Division program provides awards to it's members and abstract presenters at the ADLM Poster Hall during ADLM annual meeting (formerly the AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo).

Scientific Division Awards are commonly presented during Division events at the ADLM annual meeting. Should you wish to be considered for a division award, please visit the appropriate Division's Artery Forum for more details. For most non-abstract awards, you must be a member of the division to be considered for their award. For Division Abstract awards, upon submission of an abstract to the ADLM annual meeting poster hall, submitters will have an opportunity to select the divisions they would like to be considered for abstract awards in. 

ADLM Artery Forums

  • Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division Abstract Award

    • Two (2) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's award.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required.

    Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an Achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.
    • To nominate a member of the Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division, please consult the division's Artery forum or reach out directly to the Division's Chair.

     

  • Cardiovascular Health Division Abstract Award

    • Three (3) tiered (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's award.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required.

    Cardiovascular Health Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an Achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.
    • To nominate a member of the Cardiovascular Health Division, please consult the division's Artery forum or reach out directly to the Division's Chair.

  • Data Science & Informatics Division Award

    • One (1) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's award.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required.

    Data Science & Informatics Division Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an Achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

  • Endocrinology & Metabolism Division Award

    • One (1) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's award.

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an Achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

    • Two (2) division members are selected to receive a travel award to attend the ADLM annual meeting.

  • Hematology & Coagulation Division Abstract Award

    • One (1) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's award.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required.

    Hematology & Coagulation Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

    • Five (5) abstracts selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.

    Immunology & Infectious Disease Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

  • Pediatric & Maternal-Fetal Division Abstract Award

    • Two (2) abstracts selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.

    Pediatric & Maternal-Fetal Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

  • Point-of-Care Testing Division Abstract Award

    Point-of-Care Coordinator of the Year

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

    Point-of-Care Testing Penny Jones Travel Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive a travel award to attend the ADLM annual meeting and the division's annual event.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required.
    • To nominate a member of the Point-of-Care Testing Division or to be considered, please consult the division's Artery forum or reach out directly to the Division's Chair.
    • This award may be split between multiple awardees.

    Point-of-Care Testing Division Research Grant

    • One (1) $5000.00 USD research grant awarded to members of the division to conduct research for the coming year
    • This award availability is subject to yearly division funding and may not be awarded every year.

  • Stewardship & Management Sciences Division Abstract Award

    • One (1) abstracts selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required. 

    Stewardship & Management Sciences Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.

  • Therapeutic Drug Management & Toxicology Division Abstract Award

    • One (1) abstracts selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.

    Therapeutic Drug Management & Toxicology Division Young Investigator Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.
    • Member must be in their early career to be considered for the award
