Scientific Division Awards

The Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine's Scientific Division program provides awards to it's members and abstract presenters at the ADLM Poster Hall during ADLM annual meeting (formerly the AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo).

Scientific Division Awards are commonly presented during Division events at the ADLM annual meeting. Should you wish to be considered for a division award, please visit the appropriate Division's Artery Forum for more details. For most non-abstract awards, you must be a member of the division to be considered for their award. For Division Abstract awards, upon submission of an abstract to the ADLM annual meeting poster hall, submitters will have an opportunity to select the divisions they would like to be considered for abstract awards in.

    Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division Abstract Award

    • Two (2) abstracts selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.
    • Nominees self-select to be considered for the division's Abstract Award when submitting their abstract for the ADLM Poster Hall. 
    • Attendance to the ADLM annual meeting and Division's annual meeting event is required to receive the award.

    Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an Achievement award for the work they have performed in the past year.
    • To nominate a member of the Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division, please consult the division's Artery forum or reach out directly to the division's Chair. Requirements and instructions for nomination will be posted on the Division's Artery forum

    Cancer Diagnostics & Monitoring Division Young Investigator Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive the Young Investigator award for the work they have performed in the past year.

    • One (1) abstract selected from submissions to the annual ADLM Poster Hall for the division's awards.

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an award for their contributions to the field of Cardiovascular Health over the past year.

    Innovation & Technology Division Achievement Award

    • One (1) division member is selected to receive an award for their contributions to the field of Innovation & Technology over the past year.

    Innovation & Technology Division Innovation Grant

    • One (1) $5,000.00 USD research grant awarded to members of the division to conduct research over the coming year.
    • This award availability is subject to yearly division funding and may not be awarded every year.
