Call for Authors

Author participation opportunities

The Content Development Committee is seeking Academy Fellows and Associate Fellows to self-nominate serve as authors.

Each document is expected to have openings for 1-2 volunteers.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts, contribute to evidence-based laboratory medicine guidance, and help shape best practices for the profession. Authors will participate in developing recommendations and creating resources that support laboratorians worldwide.

Currently recruiting for 

1. ADLM guidance on Multiple Sclerosis Laboratory Testing and Reporting
2. ADLM guidance on Laboratory Testing for Diagnosing and Managing Patients with Hemoglobinopathies

Call for Authors Process

1. Fill out Call for Authors form (open for ~3 months)
2. Applications are reviewed by chair(s) of the guidance document
3. 1-2 members will be selected to join the writing group to ensure a balanced writing group
4. Notification to all volunteers who have self-nominated.
