Ali Mousavi MD is a senior academic neurologist with more than 30 years of teaching, clinical and research experience in neurological diseases, resulting in over 100 peer-reviewed publications and conference proceedings. He works as a senior consultant neurologist and clinical QA at the BC Neuroimmunology Lab and as an associate researcher at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Mousavi’s primary focus is on improving the serological diagnosis of neuroimmune and neurodegenerative disorders, particularly through the development of blood-based biomarkers for the biological diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions by performing various clinical validation and research studies.
