Lusia Sepiashvili

Dr. Lusia Sepiashvili, DABCC, FADLM, FCACB, is a board-certified clinical biochemist in the department of paediatric laboratory medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children, associate [rofessor in the department of laboratory medicine and pathobiology at the University of Toronto, and project investigator at the Sickkids Research Institute. She is a co-author of 12 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 3 book chapters and has presented over 20 abstracts internationally and nationally. Prior to her current role, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical chemistry at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and doctoral studies in medical biophysics at the University of Toronto. She has research interests in a number of diverse areas in pediatric clinical chemistry including immunology, endocrinology, and autoimmunity as well as lab test utilization.
