Nikolina Babic, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, is a professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and medical director of clinical chemistry labs and POCT. She is board-certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Babic’s work focuses on the clinical implementation of novel diagnostics, including biomarker validation, immunoassay performance, and point-of-care testing to improve patient care and workflow efficiency. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in laboratory medicine journals and is actively involved in national professional organizations, including the ADLM and the CAP.
