Dr. Pankaj Kumar, PhD, FADLM, HCLD is a CLIA board-certified high-complexity laboratory director at BC Neuroimmunology Laboratory, Vancouver, Canada, and a research associate in the Division of Neurology at the University of British Columbia. With over 15 years of experience bridging laboratory medicine, translational research, and clinical diagnostics, he provides strategic oversight for the development, validation, and clinical implementation of high-complexity assays in neurodegenerative and autoimmune neurology.
He received specialized training in autoimmune encephalitis and paraneoplastic neurological syndrome antibody testing with Professor Josep Dalmau and Professor Graus (Barcelona, Spain) and Professor Jérôme Honnorat (Lyon, France). He also received specialized training for CIDP antibody detection at Hospital Sant Pau, Barcelona, and AQP4/MOG-IgG at the French National Reference Lab, Lyon.
