Prasad Devarajan, MD, FAAP, FASN, is the Williams Endowed Chair and a tenured professor of pediatrics (nephrology) and developmental biology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the University of Cincinnati. Over the past 35 years, he has advanced the clinical practice, research, education, and advocacy of nephrology. He has authored more than 350 peer-reviewed publications and more than 100 book chapters and has an h-index of 100. Dr. Devarajan has delivered more than 300 invited lectures worldwide, and his research has received continuous National Institutes of Health funding for 35 years. He ranks among the top 0.5% of scholars worldwide in medicine based on citations to his published work.
