Ruhan Wei, PhD, DABCC, is a board-certified clinical chemist at Duke University Medical Center, where she serves as the director of the Duke Central Automated Lab and Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Wei received her Ph.D. in clinical-bioanalytical chemistry from Cleveland State University – the only ComACC-accredited doctoral program in the United States. She underwent comprehensive training in clinical chemistry through a two-year ComACC-accredited clinical chemistry fellowship at Cleveland Clinic (March 2020-March 2022). Subsequently, she joined the faculty at the School of Medicine, Duke University, in 2022. Her research interests lie in clinical chemistry, particularly in automation and clinical assay development.
