The Academy is currently accepting nominations for its 2024 election. The deadline for nominations is October 15, 2024. Academy members can submit nominations below.

The following leadership positions will be filled in the upcoming election:

  • President-Elect 2025-26, who will serve a 1 year term followed by terms as President 2026-2027 and Past-President 2027-2028
  • One Council Secretary,who will serve a 3 year term (2025-2028)
  • One Council Member, who will serve a 3 year term (2025-2028)
  • Three Nominating Committee Members, who will serve 2 year terms (2025-2027)

Please note—the Academy of Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine has adjusted its terms to mirror the the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (formerly AACC) calendar, which means that terms will now span from the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) Annual Scientific Meeting to ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting. Additionally, the Academy has moved to a single-candidate ballot for officers like ADLM. Nominating Committee elections will remain competitive, though.

Academy fellows will receive instructions on voting via email in May of 2025.

Academy of Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine Designation

Fellows of the Academy use the designation of FADLM. This designation is equivalent to FACB and FAACC, the previous designations used by fellows of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry and AACC Academy. Those groups were rebranded as Academy of Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine in 2023.
