This webinar will focus on the recently published study that evaluates the negative impacts of long-term storage of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue on next-generation sequencing (NGS) by describing how the duration of storage affects NGS quality control metrics, variant detection and tumor mutation burden scores. This webinar will also address how treatment of the DNA isolated from stored FFPE with a DNA repair enzyme might reduce storage-related artifacts and improve the accuracy of variant detection.
